English

Hey everyone,

This is just a temporary site until my English site is up and running…

I am writing this after 3 years of traveling and serving different places in this beautiful world. If you know me personally you know that my final destination is not Denmark or any other place in this world, but Heaven where my uncreated father lives. Until then, my plan in this place is to bring as much of His kingdom here, and have as many people as possible enter into it with glory.

I will be going back to Denmark to finish my education, and that will take two years. My prayers in preparation for this time have been to see many young people from Denmark go out into missions, and to be sold out for God in what he want’s to do there.

I have asked God for his heart for the nation, and I am going there with high expectations of seeing his presence fall in hearts, see change to radical and see people make choices that will consume their lives completely for His name’s sake.

Denmark is a nation that has no material need, but huge need for a spiritual awakening. My experience is that the country is so spiritually dry that whenever there is worship and prayer, the Spirit of the Lord falls so heavily in that place. It is so dry that the smallest drop of rain from Heaven is immediately soaked up.

The youth is hungry and thirsty to see people live as examples. They are willing to follow anyone that will lay down their lives for the Gospel.

My challenge going home is; AM I WILLING? My answer today is YES! I am willing, and I will choose to do whatever it takes to see, to feel and to be a part of what the King will and has already started in the little nation of Denmark.

You can be a part of it too. You can be a part of what God is wanting to do there in letting his Kingdom grow and expand. Denmark needs revival. Denmark needs people that are willing to spend hours on their knees before the Lord in prayers.

Join me in prayer! Maybe God will lead you to go there and be a physical part of it too?

I would love to hear from you or talk to you, especially if you want to be one of the intercessors on behalf of the people of Denmark. If God is speaking to you right now, please don’t ignore it.

A few pictures of what the weather has been like over the last week or so

As you can see, we have been experiencing some extreme amounts of water fall from the skies and here on the base in Ensenada are we hoping and praying that the roof will stay on. There has been promised more rain in the beginning of the coming week, and we hope that we as well as the rest of the population in Ensenada will come out of this stormy and rainy season without to much damage done to the houses here.

In this current time I am working in the kitchen, serving the Lord through my limited gifted cooking skills.
You can still get a hold on me on my email address: blaydk@gmail.com

Guess what? I’m back for more..

Yes, it is correct; I am back in Mexico, finally, for another season. As you know I am serving with YWAM in Ensenada, Mexico, and this is my blog on the spontaneous things that happens to me in my everyday life. I have been back for almost 3 weeks, and it has been a hectic time here. Some things are old, some are new but most of all everything is out of control wild and totally from God.

Right now I am doing hospitality on base, which includes a lot of toilet cleaning, bedding washing and creativity. I really enjoy it and I am working with 3 others in a team. We like to start out the day praying and then we help each other with our tasks. Since I’ve been back we have had several events on base, like birthdays, skate events, conferences and meetings. Therefore we have hosted a lot of different people and we’ve been busy making beds and cleaning bathrooms in our hospitality houses.

Mission Adventures is over for the summer and we are stepping into another interesting period of time on the base. This fall we are going to run two schools at the same time, a DTS (Discipleship Training School) and a secondary school called BCC (Biblical Core Course).
I am excited to tell you that I am going to be a student in the BCC, which will start 28th of September. This is all for now, but I will let you know more when I know more.

May God bless you,
Teresa Blay

Hey everybody,

Since I wrote my last blog, there has been a lot going on in my little world. Mission Adventures, the whole world freaking out about the swine flu, and my Danish insurance company.

Last month we finished a very successful season of Mission Adventures in Ensenada, and I was looking forward to the summer where we would start up again. I would take over the session part of the program, running our sessions and other fun stuff in preparing it. One morning I received a message from my dear mom, if I was okay, had heard anything about the flu and what we were doing as a base in this situation.n591045802_3010796_526405
I had honestly not heard a lot about the swine flu, and didn’t know that the rest of the world was freaking out on behalf of Mexico.
The next couple of days became more and more intense. All the kids got sent home from school and weren’t allowed back for 10 days, downtown everyone were wearing masks, and suddenly one day all stores in Ensenada closed down. Except for Walmart I think.

Again my parents contacted me, and asked if I had heard anything from my insurance company. Apparently they were evacuating all Danes traveling in Mexico, and were offering free return tickets to Denmark. My immediate response was:” I don’t need that.” But after thinking about it for a little while, I saw that this was an opportunity for me to go home and do some stuff I’ve only been dreaming about being able to do. My parents had just been given the leadership for the youth part of an YWAM-family camp in Denmark where they would run a program similar to Mission Adventures. Something they had not done before, but something I’m a part of in Ensenada and I would know how to do. Other opportunities as encouraging my friends who are finishing school this year and not knowing what to do next, to seek God and ask Him for guidance, raise support and money for the next season of my life where I would like to do some more traveling, and of course be with my wonderful big family.

A decision had to be made within a few hours, so I made it, and now I am writing from my kitchen table in my parent’s house in Denmark. I am very excited for what God has for me the next few months in Denmark, and I hope to be able to return to Ensenada in the beginning of August.
I got a job, and had my first day there yesterday. I will be visiting old friends and hopefully be able to raise some support too.

I would love if you would pray for me in this time. For deep intimacy with God, and for sensitive ears for His voice. For Denmark as a country, with so much potential to raise up mighty men and women of God to go out and spread the Fathers love. Especially for my church, that has seen extreme growth the last year, and is exploding with new youth coming with all kinds of backgrounds, hungry for God and his truth.

Thank you so much for your attention, may God bless you abundantly.
Much love and aloha’s from Denmark,

Teresa Blay

Hi everyone who doesn’t speak Danish,

I have now been a missionary in Mexico the last year, and I guess it’s about time that I start writing my blogs bilingual. This blog is about what I do in my everyday life, the great people I meet and the fun stuff I get to experience.

As I said I live in Mexico, to be more specific Ensenada. I can see the ocean from where I live, I try to eat tacos as often as possible, and I speak Spanish as much as I can. Life here is a joy. Even though the need is huge and the culture is very different, people here are always very friendly and welcoming. I have tons of opportunities to make a difference in someone’s life every day, like build houses or paint soup kitchens, but what I enjoy the most are the small talks with the random people I meet.

The homeless guy outside the Oxxo, the girl at the coffee shop, the hippies outside the Pharmacy that plays drums and makes jewellery, the surfers at the beach only the locals know about, etc. Most people here are loud and proud, very expressive and not afraid to give someone a kiss on the cheek and a big hug the first time you meet them. You never show your back to someone when you are talking in a big group, it is okay to yell at someone else’s child if they are being naughty and perfectly fine to call someone fat. Actually it can be a compliment.

If you are interested in being contacted when I write new blogs, let me know on: blaydk@gmail.com

Much love,

Teresa Blay
